Performance Line Ups

The Performance Line Up outlines the performance order of the show. Use the Line Up to determine the order in which your child will do their dances. Remember, dancers should arrive to the theater in their costume for their first dance.  Also, take a look at the Line Ups and make sure your dancer's name is spelled correctly. We will use this spelling in the program.

Make Up Tutorial.png

Make Up Tutorial

All dancers should wear make up on stage. The stage has very powerful lights that shine down on the dancers. Wearing make up allows their features (eyes, smile) to be better seen from the audience. Our youngest dancers can wear blush and lipstick while our older dancers (Ages 7+) can use this tutorial to get an idea of what true stage make up looks like. Parents can use the tutorial but dancers can also practice on their own leading up to the show.  Click the link below for a detailed make up tutorial.

Ponytail Tutorial

All of our dancers with long hair will either wear a Ponytail or a Bun with a center part during the dance concert. Check the Costume Instructions sheet for each class to see what style has been chosen by their teacher. Ponytails should be slicked back with gel, no loose strands or whisps. Parents can help their dancers with their hair however we also suggest that dancers practice doing their own hair starting at Age 10. Click on the link below for a detailed ponytail tutorial.

*Note: All Thrive ponytails and buns should have a center part.
